Blackpool Mechanics F.C. were established in 1947. In 1962, they joined the Lancs Combination Div Two & are current members of the North West Counties Football League Division Two. Their home ground is Jepson Way and they are nicknamed "The Mechs".

Blackpool Mechanics' biggest game in their history came in February 2006 when they played FC United of Manchester. With FC United attracting such a huge following, the game was switched from Jepson Way to Blackpool's Bloomfield Road ground, and drew a crowd of 4,300 spectators.

Directions: M6 to M55, exit at junction 4. At roundabout turn left along A583 to traffic lights, turn right into Whitehill Road, to traffic lights (2 miles). Go straight across the main road into Jepson Way, ground at top. Nearest Railway Station: Blackpool South.
